Ad Policy

Overview

FIX.CY allows advertisers to purchase ad placements across our platform, including homepage, category pages, and individual listings. This policy defines the rules, pricing, placement options, and responsibilities to ensure fairness, compliance, and user safety.

Ad Placements

• Homepage Top: Main banner position on the homepage. Supports:
  • Static (exclusive) – 1 slot
  • Carousel (shared) – up to 3 slots
• Category Top: Banner displayed on selected category and all its subcategories.
  • Static (exclusive) – 1 per category parent
  • Carousel (shared) – up to 4 per category parent
• Listing Top: Banner displayed on individual listing pages.
  • Static (exclusive) – 1 per listing
  • Carousel (shared) – up to 4 per placement

All placements are subject to availability. Pending and active ads occupy slots equally.

Pricing

Pricing is proportional to the placement type and duration:

• Custom durations are calculated proportionally to the base price.
• Example: 15-day homepage static banner = €150.

Ad Approval & Renewal

• All ads are reviewed before activation. Approval may take up to 24–48 hours.
• Ads violating policy (spam, scam, adult content, malware, deceptive links, or illegal material) may be rejected. Payments for rejected ads are non-refundable.
• Renewal is subject to slot availability.
  • Users cannot renew a static slot if another active/pending ad occupies the same placement.
  • Shared slots have limits per placement (carousel). If full, renewal cannot proceed until a slot frees up.

Content Restrictions

Ads must not include:

• Pornography, adult content, or nudity
• Scam or phishing content
• Malware, viruses, or harmful scripts
• Illegal services, products, or downloads
• Misleading or false claims

FIX.CY reserves the right to reject or remove any ad at its discretion. Non-compliant ads may be removed without refund.

Technical Requirements

• Recommended image sizes:
  • Homepage Top: 1200×250 (static), 1200×180 (carousel)
  • Category Top: 1200×180 (static and carousel)
  • Listing Top: 1200×180 (static and carousel)
• Banner text ads should adhere to font and size guidelines to ensure readability.
• File types: .jpg, .png, .gif. Maximum size: 20 MB.
• Ad images may be cropped to fit placement dimensions.

Tracking & Reporting

• FIX.CY tracks impressions and clicks for each ad.
• Users can view ad metrics in Your Ads.
• Any discrepancy in tracking or reporting will be reviewed by FIX.CY. Decisions are final.

Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed via Stripe.
• Payments are non-refundable for ads that are rejected due to policy violations or misuse.
• Users are responsible for verifying their checkout before confirming the purchase.
• Ad duration starts from the date of approval, not payment.

Termination & Policy Enforcement

• FIX.CY may suspend, remove, or limit ads for non-compliance, violation of terms, or suspicious activity.
• Users agree to comply with all ad rules and placement limitations.
• Any disputes related to ad placement or performance will be handled solely by FIX.CY management.
